Macro Monday: Sunny Day

Our weather has been so dark and dreary, I needed a reminder that our beautiful spring is just around the corner.

One day a couple of years ago, I had to drop my car off for an all-day repair job.  Being without a car for several hours, I decided to hop on our light rail train and head downtown with my camera.  It was a perfect spring day . . . one of the first really nice days after a long cold winter.  There were lots of flowers in bloom.  These guys live close to the Keller Auditorium in downtown Portland.

PURPLE!!! I love purple. And they look quite a lot like what we call columbine. Is it?

Sigh. It's been cold and dark and rainy here, too. Moses is not a happy camper, since if he went out to hunt, he would get all wet and muddy. What a wonderful reminder that this, too, shall pass! Come on, springtime!

Piękny orlik ma śliczny kolor, a Ty mu zrobiłaś jeszcze wspaniałe zdjęcie. Ja na robienie zdjęć wiosennych muszę poczekać jeszcze trochę :-(. Pozdrawiam. *** A beautiful columbine has pretty color, and you did him a great picture yet. I take pictures of spring I have to wait a bit :-(. Yours.
