Occupy Your Sewing Room Link-Up and Giveaway

THIS EVENT IS CLOSED.

It's the Day You've Been Waiting For!!

Today and for the rest of the week, link up with the projects you worked on during your Occupy time!  It's been such fun hearing from all of you about what you've been working on and how much fun you've been having occupying your sewing rooms.

To be eligible for this giveaway you must first write a blog post and link up below.  If you don't have a blog, it is perfectly okay to link to a FlickR group or a Shutterfly page, or anything similar that will generate a URL to link up with.  If you helped to publicize the event and left me a comment telling me how you did that, you are already entered for one extra chance..  No need to leave any additional comments.  Finally, you must provide a valid email address so that I can notify you if you win.  If you link with a blog post, make sure your email address is available through your profile.  Same goes for FlickR, Shutterfly, or any other site you link with.  And if there is no way to do that, then you must leave me a comment on this post with your email address.  No valid email equals no chance to win.

So with all of that said, let's get to it!  I've been posting my projects all week, and so I'm not going to bore you by posting all of that again.  If you want to see what I've worked on during my Occupy time, just check out the FlickR group I've created by clicking right here.

To see the list of prizes for this giveaway click right here.  Winners will be chosen at random.  This giveaway ends December 17th at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time.  Winners will be announced sometime during the day on December 17th.  Good luck!

To enter to win, link up right here!  And please visit your fellow Occupy Sewtesters and leave them some nice comments about all they've accomplished this week.

I have added my link. The Ghost belongs to my son but the rest are mine.
This week I managed to make:
8 sewing companions
7 fat quarter bags
6 tea wallets
12 elves
1 rainbow skirt (minus the hem!)
1 project wallet
AND
1 messenger bag for my little girl that I made using a mash up of 5 different patterns, one for the strap, one for the outside, one for the outside pockets, and 2 for the lining and inner pockets.
PHEW!!!!!

This was so much fun! I've been blessed to win some giveaways recently, so if my name pops up, choose someone else. I just wanted to be part of the party! Thanks for organizing this!

Loved this challenge - can hardly wait for the 17th! I did have some problems with linking, so my name is there twice, once without a thumbnail, sorry about that!

Thanks so much for putting on this challenge. I got so much done and am still going to occupy my sewing room for another week in hope to finish up two of my quilts I've been working on. Hearts Desire and Peaceful pathways. I've added my link to the linky party and am enjoying so much visiting everyone else's sewing rooms. : )

I enjoyed this, too -- it made me really think about doing some stuff (and helped keep me from procrastinating, too)!! I bloged about it and posted your button on my sidebar, but I don't remember if I told you or not! Thanks again, Barbara! :)

Thanks for the comment letting me know my flickr linkie was working. After all the news about Occupy Wall Street, it was nice to do something positive and Occupy my sewing room (a.k.a. my chair) and work steadily on my handsewing. Thanks for the encouragement. My LMS Birdie Stitches December embroidery was completed and lots of headway made on handquilting my queen-sized sampler quilt. I'm on the last block, then sashing and borders to quilt.

I had some problems with getting my link to post and accidentally ended up with two links. I don't see a way to remove one, so I'm afraid I'll have to ask you to do it. I'm numbers 43 and 46. 46 has a more accurate link - directly to the blog post, and 43 just links to the whole blog, but I'm not seeing a picture on 46... I'm not good with these sorts of things. Sorry.

Barbara, Thanks for hosting this event. You got me to get off my procrastinating backside and helped me get some work done... work that I really wanted to do (especially more than housework) but for some reason I keep putting off the FUN stuff. Maybe I'm afraid once I get started I'll never stop. Just wanted you to know you've inspired me. Thank you.

What a fun event! Thanks so much for hosting it. While I didn't get much more than organizing over the week, I DID manage to get my son's curtains finished. :o) Let's do this again sometime!
