Good morning, my friends. I'm writing fast this morning. I'm getting my haircut, and so my morning is starting early. Thankfully, my elbow has given me no more trouble. Weird how that stuff happens, and then disappears as quickly as it appeared. So I was back to my usual sewing routine yesterday. I'll continue to avoid the Bowflex for a few more days, but I have no more complaints.
Quilting continues on Calendula Patterdrip's Cottage. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I've turned the quilt 180° now, and so I'm sewing upside-down for the time being. I started with the three pieced blocks at the left edge of the quilt.
Then I quilted the pieced blocks below the crows on a tree branch.
Then I quilted some feathers onto the three nearest crows. I'm afraid it doesn't show up very well in this picture, but I always think birds need some feathers.
And that pretty well took up my hour of quilting. I left my needle down at the top of the witch's hat. If there's time for quilting today, the focus will be mostly on the embroidered blocks. Probably, it will mean a lot of outlining, but I'll add some little things in some of the open areas.
And I'm creeping up on a finish with this! Everything below the green line is quilted.

You're only as good as your last haircut. ~ Fran Lebowitz
So glad that your elbow is feeling better and that it's not hindering your quilting. I suspect limiting yourself to an hour is likely good for all the body parts involved.
Just love that CDP quilt--and your quilting is amazing...

Love your quilting on the Calendua quilt. And yes, birds need feathers! Pretty Star block for your 'Seasons' quilt. Are they both Crabapple Hill pattern? Sorry you had such pain in your elbow, but glad you're feeling better.
You are making good progress on the Calendua quilt - I enjoy seeing your quilting. Someday maybe I'll be able to quilt like that, if I practice (ahem). The star block is really pretty!
You've been moving along on Calenda and your seasons quilt. Hopefully you survived the trip to the mad world of pre-holiday crowds. I have to do that today.
