Technical Difficulties

It's been kind of a lousy day. My keyboard seems to have given up the ghost, and so I haven't been able to do anything there. And here I sit with prizes to give away! Mike tried fixing it, but it looks like a new keyboard is in my future. Either way, it occurred to me this afternoon that I could use our laptop, and so here I am.

So let's get to that winner, shall we? I spun the random number generator and came up with:

#31--Lee!

Congratulations, Lee! I've sent you an email, so check your inbox. And thank you to all who played along. I really enjoyed your sweet comments.

As for me, I got a tetanus shot yesterday, which, true to form, has made me terribly sick. It always has, and I'm afraid it always will. So I've spent the day horizontal, and I'm heading back there now. It's a CSA pick-up day today, and that just ain't happening. I'm hoping I'll feel better tomorrow, and I can sneak in to pick up our share on a different day.

For now, I'm keeping this post short. Fingers crossed tomorrow will be a better day. If you don't hear from me for a few days, you'll know it's one thing or another.

My sympathies. They've always made me sick, also. My allergist thinks it's because they gave them to us every time we turned around back in the dark ages. I'm overdue for my DTP shot - have to figure out when I can afford to be sick. Hope you're feeling better soon.

Ugh - I'm due for mine next year and I'm dreading it. But so is the older child, so I have to pretend I'm the mature adult and not wince as much. I hope you feel better soon and get the keyboard fixed/replaced in your downtime!

They're never fun, but I'm sorry they make you so sick, along with the sore arm. Congrats to Lee, and thanks for keeping us all well entertained these last eight years!

So sorry to hear about the reaction to the tetanus shot, Barbara. Hope the kitty crew is on nurse patrol and keeping you cuddled and cozy. Hoping you will be back to usual programming soon! In the meantime, rest. We'll keep the sewing projects going!

Congrats ON your Blogiversary :)
Sorry you're feeling under the weather! Wow it's been forever since I had a tetanus shot - my PCP has never even mentioned it. Eek!

Sounds like a perfectly rotten day. Hopefully that was your rotten day for the year. Feel better soon.

My Mother could not take tetanus shots. They made her deathly ill. The doctor thought she was allergic to something in them! They had to give her the baby formula tetanus then she absolutely had to have it! Feel better, soon.

Oh you know my stance on vaccines and when I recently went to urgent Care I had a lengthy talk with the doctor about vaccines and especially the tetanus shot!
