Another month has come and gone. That was fast, you say? Yes. 'Tis the season for time flying by faster than you can get your bearings. But that's okay because you never have to finish anything for this challenge. The rules are pretty fast and loose. We are here to have fun, and what could be more fun than starting a new project? Everyone who links up today will be eligible to win this month's prize, the quilt block Needle Nanny, which is one of my personal favorites. I use this one to hold my guild name tag on my shirt...no pins required.
So here's what I started this month. For one thing, I actually started on the NewFO I had planned for October, the Corn Flowers table runner:
I didn't get any further than making the strip sets for the flower appliques when my hand started giving me grief from all the applique I'd done the previous weekend.
I was able to make all of the blocks before setting that aside for another time.
And that's it from me for the month. Now I'm ready to see what you started during the month of November. Here are my simply and friendly requests before you link up:
1. Please link-up with your newly started projects from November, finished or not. If you feel like it, show us the progress you've made on any other previously posted NewFO projects.
2. Please link back to this post from your blog. Also, please link to your blog post, not your blog. Links to entire blogs will be edited or deleted entirely. Links provided for the sole purpose of promoting other events or shopping experiences will be deleted without apology. (Sorry, but some folks can't seem to resist crashing the party.)
3. Don't have a blog? Upload an image to this FlickR group and link to that. If you have questions about how to do that or about how to link up, please email me. If you're having trouble posting your image, email it as an attachment, and I will be happy to post it for you. Also know that it takes a bit for your thumbnail to appear, so don't despair. It will appear eventually. You might need to "refresh".
4. Obviously, I need some way to contact you no matter how you link up. No email address and no other way to contact you equals no entry in the giveaway. Email me separately if you need to.
I'll leave this linky party open until one minute before midnight on Friday, December 6, 2013. Winner of the needle nanny will be announced on Saturday, December 7, 2013! We will ship anywhere in the universe, so international and interplanetary participants are always welcome! (Warning: The Needle Nanny may not survive re-entry into your planet's atmosphere. Also traveling too close to the sun is not advisable.)

Love the blocks for your Good Morning quilt. Those came together really quickly.
I've really enjoyed the challenge this year. It's helped me get a few quilts on my bucket list at least to the WIP stage.
That Good Morning quilt is going to be so lively and fun - love the sweetness of it!
That is one bright and cheery quilt!
Can't wait to see the Corn Flowers table runner but I'll wait patiently! The Good Morning Quilt is very sweet - it reminds me of my mom's kitchen for some reason. (That's a good thing!). ~Jeanne
The Corn Flowers pattern looks very pretty. And the Good Morning quilt is so soft and sweet - you really did those blocks fast.
You have some good starts! I have a couple too, but will have to wait until I get home to post. :D
I am really going to try this month. I know I have said that in the past, but I have a lot that I have done in the past coupe of weeks!
I'm home & linked up now! :)
Your Good Morning Quilt is looking so sweet! I finally have a new FO to share, and just in the knick of time!
I actually started and finished a lap quilt in one month. Linking up for the first time.
I really like that clothesline block you're making.
Instead of making progress on half-done Christmas gifts, I started two NICU quilts, to honor dear friends who just lost a twin pregnancy. I'm posting a picture of one of them. While the calendar may say that the Christmas quilts and table runners are more urgent, these NICU quilts are works of love and this is the time for them.
I just love-love-love that Good Morning quilt :)
