Winners and Losers

Help me decide on a case for my new phone.
See the choices right here.

Let's start with the winners. Of course, you are all winners in my book, but there can only be one winner of the needle nanny for the September NewFO Challenge. Mr. Random has spoken, and the winner of the cat needle nanny is:

#9--Celtic Stitches

Congratulations, Fiona! I'll be contacting you via email, so check your inbox.

Now, don't despair if you didn't win this month, because you'll still have three chances to win before the end of the year. Be back here with your new projects for the linky party on October 31st (scary Halloween edition) when we'll be playing for this moon needle nanny:

And now for the losers. Dedicated to those losers in our nation's capital. (You know who you are.) It's Day 8 of the shutdown and Day 7 of my NP4 protest. Today I'm honoring the glacial pace of our governing process by posting this image of Glacier National Park in Montana. This image was taken in September, 2012 on Going to the Sun Road.

Power to the People!!

It's a stay-at-home day for me today, and I am feeling so good about that. Looking forward to sewing, and maybe doing some baking. Poor Mike is having a tooth pulled today, so I've been considering whether it would be kind or cruel to bake. Maybe some nice soft applesauce muffins...what do you think? I have just a little bit of housework to do today, and then I'll be spending the day sewing. It's a perfect day for it...gloomy and cold outside...and so I guess I'll just get going! Enjoy your Tuesday.

Gorgeous picture of Glacier. I really hope they'll solve their problems before we leave for holiday, or else I won't be able to see this for myself!!

Congratulations Fiona! I really want that one! I put it on my wish list for Santa (aka Mom). Awww muffins would be a sweet comfort. Yes this government shut down baloney is beyond ridiculous. I hope you get to enjoy your sewing today!

Congratulations Fiona! I'd love to win next month as it's my birthday month. I keep hearing more & more things that just disgust me that is happening because of the shutdown. Glacier National Park is beautiful. I love mountains, in fact that is the reason I moved to Colorado after graduation! I think some nice soft applesauce muffins would be just wonderful for Mike. Sure sounds yummy to me! Power to the People!!
