The Fable of the Four-legged Furrenemies

Hm.....I wonder if this grass is suitable for the hork pie I'm planning for Mom's new carpet.  She probably thinks I've forgotten.  I should probably wait just a little longer until her guard is down completely.

Oh, fuzz farts!  Dad's out there on the tractor making a bunch of noise!  I wonder where Smitty is.  Smiiiiiitttttty!

Here I am, Gracie!

Smitty, how many times have I told you not to come right away?  You know it's not good to come too fast when Mom calls.  It fosters her dependency on your cuteness.  You need to wait until you hear that furrantic sound in her voice.  Then, come slowly and with a lot of drama.  Sheesh, Smitty.  Your breath smells like tuna!  Didn't you brush your teeth this morning?

Back off, Man.  If you start sniffing around my nether regions, you will pay.  I will kick your tail up around your ears, and I am not kidding around this time, Buster.

Okay, Gracie.  So what do you want to do?

We could climb on these rocks.

Nah, Smitty.  I'm going to perch here on this water viper just to keep it under control.

[Wow, Gracie is really brave.  I purrsonally don't care for the water vipers.]

Look over here, Gracie!

This here is some righteous weed.

Where?  Let me see.

Hm.  Smell's okay.  This has potential for a good hork pie.

Wow, you're right Smitty.  This stuff is dee-licious.

Wait a minute, Smitty.  I think I hear something.  I might be a squirrel.

Shhhhh.  Listen.

Smitty, let's reconnoiter under the tree fort.

Do you hear it too?

Smitty, you're scaring me.  You're getting that wild look in your eye.

Smitty, don't do it!  No, Smitty.

AAARRRRrrrrrrrgh!  SMITTY!!

SMITTY!!!!!  DO NOT CLIMB UP THAT TREE!  You know what happened the last time!  You go too high, and then you cry for someone to let you down.  And NO ONE IS GOING TO GET YOU DOWN!

Okay, Man.  Good save.  Just walk away passively.

That cat.  I teach him everything I know, and he still doesn't know anything.

The End.

I'm glad they like to run around together! I'll say the hose is something to fear, my cats run quickly away any time it's turned on.

Smitty and Gracie, you had a great adventure! Kirby attempted to chase a squirrel up a tree and Dad caught him about head high! Then Angel climbed all the way to the top of the wooden fence. We had Dad really running!
