The prompt for this week's 52 Photos Project is "Stripes". When I saw the prompt, this is the first thing I thought of:
It's one of my favorite doorways from my trip to Ireland last year. Love that crazy striped paint job. I'm hoping to turn this door into a quilt block for the Doors of Ireland quilt. I just have to figure out how to do justice to the lettering in the store name. I might have to embroider it to make it look right.

I love that doorway. I hope the shop inside was as inspired as the front.
That is one fun building to see! I would love to visit ireland.
visiting from 52 photos.
Oh my goodness...that would be one store I'd just HAVE to go into! Mad Hatter Dingle, indeed!
Eye-catching stripes in Dingle for sure! My stripes are very monotone & boring in contrast to yours!!!
I love old buildings, and these funky colors make it even better. Hopefully I'll get to see the quilt block you make inspired by this building. Coming to you via 52 Photos Gallery… blessings!
Fabulous! Only in Ireland...
A great doorway. Good luck with your quilt.
Love the colors in that shot. Those stripes definitely make a statement.
