Let's Party!!

This giveaway is now closed.

Welcome to the Beat the Winter Blues Blog Hop Party and Giveaway.  Thanks for stopping by my blog today!

If we're going to beat the winter blues, I think we need some bright colors, don't you?  Today I have something fabulous for you.  These pretties ought to bring a smile to your face:

It's a seven fat quarter bundle and panel of Swallow Tail Flutterby by Mary Engelbreit for Andover Fabrics.

And I'm going to make it super easy for you to win.  Here's what you need to do:

1.  Make sure I'm able to contact you.  In my last giveaway, I had to bypass the first two winners because they were set at no-reply.  Here's a clue:  If no one ever replies to the comments you leave on blogs, then you're probably set at no-reply.  Do yourself a favor and google these words:  "No-reply blogger".  You'll find lots of tutorials to help you out.  If you're using Google Plus, you could be at no-reply and not even know it.  Try these words in your search:  "No-reply Google Plus".

2.  Leave a comment.  You can say anything you want to, but if you can't think of anything, here's a question for you:  What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?

3.  Followers of my blog, new or time-honored, can leave a second comment for a second chance to win.

I will ship internationally, and so this giveaway is open to all citizens of Planet Earth.  Giveaway will remain open until March 14th.  Winner announced on March 15th.  Good luck!

I'm never at a loss for words, but I really like your question, so here goes. What would I attempt to do if I knew I could not fail? I would learn to teleport myself long distances, to avoid 14-20 hours of travel time each week. Or, I would find a seasonal business that I loved to own/operate, that provided me with an adequate living for the entire year.

If I should win this bundle, it will be going into a quilt for my oldest granddaughter for when she turns 10. I've told my grandkids that when they turn 10, I'll make them each a quilt. Time to retire the baby quilts :) I've started on one, have a suggestion from the second, and I'll probably do the row along I've seen recently for the granddaughter.

a few years ago, i drew up a room plan to turn my back room into a craft room ... it worked! after a lot of hard work, all the parts and pieces of cabinets and countertops, i had a place for my 'puter, sewing machine, fabric and all the tools and thingies that would make working back here so fine. i was 70 then and am out of ideas of things to do that i could do, for i've done them or tried to.

OOH those are beautiful colors. Funny enough, I was in JoAnn Fabrics today to get some fleece to make a little bunny hat for my 1yr old Granddaughter and checked their little fat quarter bundles again. I've been collecting a few of them the past few trips there and they are the very same colors you have shown in the giveaway; lime green, orange, and that bright pink. How funny. This must be meant for me right? Maybe it's our cat connection. LOL

Have a great weekend.

Betty said...

I have always wished I could start a cat rescue program since that service is severely lacking in my area. Maybe someday, if I win the lottery, but I don't play the lottery, so it probably won't happen. :-/
