The prompt for Week 47 of the 52 Photos Project is "Light". I dug into the archives for this submission:
This was taken during a visit to Yosemite National Park a few years ago. It was Autumn and the leaves were changing, and so pretty while we were there. I used my starburst filter to catch this little glimpse of sunlight shining through the leaves.

I love the star burst effect on the light and the colours of the leaves are beautiful. I love playing with filters on the camera but recently I've forgotten to use them.Must try to remember this year.
Gorgeous picture!!!
The colours are stunning!
Wow! That's such a cool starburst on a gorgeous tree shot.
Very cool- love the starburst!
I pinned you to my Beauty Surrounding board. Thanks for the photo, Barb, it's stunning. I absolutely love Yosemite in the fall. There are the most magnificent vistas and the colors are so amazing.
This is really pretty, nice job.
How cool!
I've never bought filters, but after seeing this one, maybe I should think about it. Gorgeous shot!
The star burst is pretty.

Just posted a new project on http://yellowmoundquilt.blogspot.com/
Beautiful starburst. Fall in Yosemite sounds wonderful.
Beautiful! I haven't ever used a filter like that, but it's something I'd like to try.
I am so NOT used to going to work every day, that I've been wiped out by the time I'm home & haven't done my 'light' yet. Maybe tomorrow....
Beautiful shot! As much as I like fall though, I'm ready for spring.
GREAT capture -- the sun coming through the trees is about darn near perfect. :)
I love this kind of light, when the sun looks like a star in the trees. Beautiful! Thank you for sharing.
