Something Rarely Seen

Gracie stopped grrrrrrrrrrring long enough this morning for Smitty to snuggle butts with her.

Smitty just loves Gracie...a little too exuberantly for her taste.

We often have those moments of "Moooommmmmmm!  Smitty's furs are touching mine!  Moooooooommmmmmmm!  Smitty's gray furs are coming off on my white furs.  Mooooooommmmmmmm!  Smitty's looking at me!  Mooooooommmmmm!  Smitty's breathing on me."  Oy.

On the other hand, embroidery just wouldn't be the same without my morning lap of cat.

I'm off to try to finish my Plain and Simple Amish sampler today, right after I begin my ascent of Mt. Laundry.  But before I go, I wanted to show you something I posted on my Facebook page the other day.

I just knew you'd like it.

LOL... I've had my grandcats here all week and there have been more squabbles than usual. I'm collecting pics for a post one of these days!

Gotta love the kitties. My youngest thinks he is the food comptroller and pushes the other ones away when he thinks they have had their ration!

lol! I can totally picture it since until about a month ago, when it got really cold, Koko did the same thing whenever Clara tried to buddy up with him. He's since discovered that a warm fur snuggle partner is a fine thing when the thermostat has to stay pretty darned low for a tight budget!

You crack me up!

That is rare in my house too, but sometimes they end up in the same space. Love the stitchery, trying to think of something to stitch, too miserable to move much, so something simple I can do in a stitchery is a good weekend project.

My two cats have been together 3 years now and the closest they've slept together is 12". Oscar gets a kick out of touching Mitza to make her hiss and there's a lot of chasing now that he's annoyed with the cold and the snow. I just know they'll never be friends.

Very cute tee-shirt!

Cute. And so smart of Gracie to realize that sometimes, even if you're a little annoyed, it's really nice to snuggle butts. ;-)

Being cold will make for strange bedfellows. Guess Gracie got cold enough. They do look cute together. Hope you got lots of sewing done.

Just like siblings....smile. Too cute. Paw McCartney....:)

Your really good at embroidery! What's that little kitty at the top?

I do love the t-shirt!

Gracie and Smitty must've made a resolution to be butt buddies. Love the tee.

That's so nice that the kitties were able to snuggle just a bit. My 100lb Bullmastiff lets our cat sleep by her. The Bullmastiff will even let the cat have her bed if the cat's on it first. =)

Oh I can just hear them - and see their faces too! Gypsy & Sable used to ignore each other like there were no other cats in the house at all. Don & I used to get the biggest kick out of seeing who could ignore who better. I think I see why they called a cease fire though - they both wanted to lay on that wonderful quilt :*D (Love the t-shirt too!)

We have 2 rescue kitties that are bother & sister. They don't do much cuddling with each other either, just with their human. I like your T-shirt! Love your embroidery & I've loved looking at your red kitty embroidery. I just might have to take up embroidery too!

Sounds like I have the same two cats as you. I think they just love to bicker like small children. Omalley is always the antagonist. Love the T-shirt too.

I thought your picture from the other day was the first one with both cats in it, this one is better.
Shouldn't it be Paw McCatney?

I didn't think my two kitties at the time liked each other... until I got home from work early one day and they were snuggled up together on the couch! They do keep us entertained.
