Animal Cruelty

Today I'm going to the Stitches in Bloom quilt show at the Oregon Garden.  It's one of my favorite shows.  It's in a venue that is too small, but it's a good enough show for a claustrophobe like me to suffer through the jostling.  Deep breaths rule the day.  Still...

when he's looking so cozy and comfy, it's hard to think about disturbing my morning lap cat.

There is nothing like a cozy quilt to snuggle in.
I hope you have a wonderful time and take lots of photos.

Have you ever tried Calms Forte by Hyland's brand? I use it for dealing with crowds and other stressful situations. It's great - and non-drowsy as long as I'm not already sleepy. ;-)

The great thing about cats is that if you're kind to them, they are very forgiving. :-) He will not hold it against you. :-) Our cat doesn't, even though she sometimes actually hisses at us if we make her get out of our laps when she doesn't want to. lol

He does look very happy there!

I don't deal with crowds either - long walking venues involve a wheelchair, which just doesn't work in crowds. I just took a nice long nap with both my furries - delightful!

I enjoy quilt shows. Tomorrow I am going to the Hot Shop hop. Its a shop hop all in one place, like a quilt show but no quilts!

I know what you mean about not wanting to disturb the cat!

Oh lucky you! Cuddles time with Smitty and a quilt show in one day. I know you will have enjoyed both and can't wait to hear about the show.

There is something so comforting about a sleeping cat on a quilt.
I don't like to disturb mine either, but I certainly would for a good quilt show!

No quilt shows around here in the Winter. We had snow last night. Just enough to be a nuisance.
