Seeing Red

Just when you think it can't happen . . . 


I was out watering the tomatoes, and I started peering under the leaves looking for the first tomato that appeared when they started producing fruit, and there it was!  Ripe and ready to eat.  Yum!

Did you hear that shrieking?  That was me doing the happy dance.  Feel free to join in.

Ha! Whadya know? Excellent!! Tomorrow I will check mine. It's been wet here finally. I'm not sure if that's a good thing for the tomatoes. They might burst, right? In any case, we will see...

Heeheehee! You know my feeling about those particular red fruits ~ but I'm laughing because one of my friends has been complaining because she has SO MANY of the darned things!!!
