Good morning. Smitty here.
Thought I should give you a purrsonal introduction to my new life here at the Three Cats Ranch. It's a purretty good place. Better than that kennel I was living in.
My morning routine is getting purretty well established. Every morning I wait for my Mom to come downstairs and then I attack her feet. She loves nearly breaking her neck first thing in the morning when she gets out of bed.
This is my frenemy, Gracie. She's kind of crabby. I'm working on her though.
I mean, honestly. Who could resist this face?
After I do some interior decorating around the place, it's time to clean my furs. Cleanliness is next to godliness, you know.
It's important to clean up all the toe jam.
And all the other "spots" too.
And I just want to add that position is everything in life.
And when I'm all clean, I like to stretch this way and that, and get in some yoga moves.
Now I'm ready to start my day. There are birds outside our window, and I am on high alert.
Going outside is great, but my mom grounded me for the next few days. She says I'm getting too bold. Yesterday I gave chase, and I don't think she liked it.
So now, she's holding me purrisoner inside.
Might as well stretch out and take a nap. I need to rest up for the next part of the day.

Too cute! Great pictures of Smitty.
Smitty, you are a handsome little dude, and will be ruling the roost at Three Cats Ranch soon (or already)! So happy to meet you, keep us posted on your adventures -- I think Annabella has a little crush :-)
Oh my, what a cuty!! Fell instantly in love with this sweet face of his. And you can see he will be a mischievous little fella', don't you think?? Well, at least he has a great taste in quilts, like good cats do.
Hope to see much more of him...
Bianca, mom of four little devils like him; Arie, Bram, Cees and Dirk.
So wishing for a new kitty. I think Kalli would love a new friend. DOnt think Im ready for a 2nd one though.
Smitty, thank you for the entertaining introduction and glimpse into your daily life. You are adorable!
Smitty is very smart to now be blogging too :) {{{ love }}} Thanks for sharing purrrt of your day Smitty!
Hahahahaha! Thank you Smitty for adding smiles to my face and laughter to my heart. You are sure a cutie!
Thanks for the run down on the routine. Sorry you've been grounded. Hope you get off the restricted list soon.
I just love Smitty! He reminds me so much of my Cricket. Do you know how old he is?
Oh Smitty, what fun you are!! I'm so glad you were able to hijack B's blog for the day!! I know she must love having you around - you are such a cutie-patootie!!
Cracks me up that she loves being attacked every morning - that's just like my Mom! I wake her up every morning by pounding on her side of the bed - I don't know why she thinks she should sleep past 5:30 am - doesn't she know that's when all the fun starts?? So sorry you got grounded for chasing...you have to learn to do that when no one's looking, so you don't get in trouble again.
Write again soon,
love,
Bailey
Hi Smitty! This is ole Moses....you are making me remember my younger days, ya know? I loved to attack my mom's ankles each and every time she was within reach. It was always good for a kitty chuckle, especially when she was carrying something. You look like you have your mom's training well in hand. I enjoyed visiting with you today!
Purrrrrrr....
Smitty is a riot. I noticed in a previous post that even though Gracie is letting him eat treats at the same time she is, he is facing her so he can thwart a sneak attack. Thanks for sharing his activities it really brightens my day.
So happy to see Smitty getting into the swing of things, blogging is very important. Maya wants to tell Smitty not to forget to "bite the toes, it makes them do a happy dance".
Smitty is adorable - hopefully Gracie warms up real quick and they become best buds!
Thanks for letting us in on your routine Smitty. My kitty-pals, Possum & Ries, love to stare out the window at the birdies too. It looks like you're doing a good job on the washy stuff, keep it up!
Gorgeous! What a lovely post. Am concerned about Smitty's feet though. I think he is going to grow into the size of a mountain lion!
