Leftover Images from Ireland: Part Eight (Quilt Show)

Here is another group of quilts from the International Quilt Show of Ireland.  Again, they are fairly self-explanatory, and so I'll just let you look.

The next quilt has several detailed shots following.  You can read the center panel (I hope), and then the rest will make sense.  They were "letters" that were quilted and embroidered to look like handwriting on notebook paper.  Very clever. 


"There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.  I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." 








The next one was one of the winners in its category.

This was another winner, and strangely, the only one I saw with a ribbon displayed.

I have just one more group of images from the quilt show, and then a few more from Dublin, and that will be the end of my trip.  I offer this up as reassurance in case you're really tired of seeing images from Ireland.

Those quilts are just insanely creative! That's a whole different level of quilting! I would expect to smell the chocolate and how many people do you think went out and bought chocolate after seeing that? The details in those quilts just boggles my mind. Gorgeous.

I have loved all the photos of the show. Funny, the letter our guild got had that the show was just 'flower themed' quilts for entry. We made fabric flowers and sent - request for walkways - did you see these?

I don't think I could possibly get tired of the pictures! Some of these quilts were pure genius with their details!

NONONONO!!! Don't stop! I'm loving these pictures....surely you have more for us? LOL As I scrolled down I kept thinking to myself...gotta comment on that one - oh, that one is uber cute -oh, I have to say something about this one....Heehee!
I did really like the one with all the modes of transport; it was really cute, and the 3d stuff is incredible. You know I have an insane 3d fetish for my quilt projects. :)

Love the chocolate shop fat quarter shop quilt. The fabric chocolate bar is very cool!
