52 Photos Project: Pink

52 Photos Project

The prompt for Week 5 of the 52 Photos Project is Pink.  When I saw this week's prompt, I thought of this image immediately.  It's one from the archives, and I've always liked it.

We were stopped at a roadside rest heading south on Interstate 5 in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest.  With the deafening sound of automobiles, motorcycles, and long-haul truckers whizzing past on the freeway, this honeybee was hard at work, oblivious to the noise and chaos surrounding her.

To see some beautiful photography, visit the 52 Photos Project.

Beautiful picture! Your comments reminded me of so many times on the road with Paul. He took some great close-ups of bees and flowers near Helena, MT, one year. Too bad none of them were pink! =)
