Design Wall Monday: April 9, 2012

Lots of stuff on my design wall today.  I made lots of blocks this past week.  Here's my block for the Block Lotto:

Here's my block for the Block Swap Adventure:

This is a wonky log cabin for the We Bee Learning block bee:

This is the eighth of nine blocks for "A Day in the Life of Mr. Bear."  I still need to add borders to this block, and then . . . one more block to go!

This is the April block for the "Hello Sun" BOM sew along:

This is the seventh block for the Blogger's BOM:

This is the first block with its added borders for the Vintage Miniature Sewing Machines BOM:

And finally, I finished the double Irish chain doll quilt I was making for a little girl named Irish.  This is the front:

and here's the back.  Is this fabric perfect, or what?

So many blocks.  So little time for housework.  I've adopted Alfred E. Newman as my favorite philosopher. In other words, What?  Me worry?

And with so many blocks of the month in this post, how can I resist linking up to:

I love that first block for the block lotto -- very appealing pattern! Of course, as usual, all your work is just lovely!! The Irish quilt will be well-loved, I'm sure!! :)

Lots of wonderful projects and beautiful work. I do love the irish chain and plan on making one, but for now, I need to organize and get something made for my bed and going with simple.

You accomplished a lot! I love the plaid block. I'm going to make a couple more, but donate chances, since I just won. I might have to come back to this one and make some for me, though.
