This week's Foto Finish theme is: Things in the City
Here's my entry:
It's a building in a building. We have a lot of buildings from the early 1900's in Portland. I like the juxtaposition of old and new in this image. This was taken on a day when I had to leave my car to have some work done, and so I took our light rail train (MAX, which stands for Metropolitan Area Express) downtown and wandered around all morning snapping pictures. This is one I especially liked.

Very cool photo. All the glass buildings offer so many great options for intersting photographs.
I love how the brick building is reflected in the glass.

That is a really nice shot. I want to walk around the village when I feel better, maybe in the fall when it is cooler. There are so many historical homes and shops and I would like to get my own photographs that I can use in a village quilt. Maybe a few outside the village too, like the farm I played at, when younger.

Going back a couple posts... I have been an avid cross stitcher for many years but am being tempted to add some embroidery (which is where I started crafting many years ago!) What is the pattern for your Winter Wonderland quilt top? I read back through June but know I would probably have to keep going until I got back to January or December since it's a BOM. I also have decided that I'd love to be a taste tester - your baking and cooling looks delicious! Thanks for sharing!
