My son, Erik, lives for Oregon State football. I have some Oregon State fabric in my stash that I've had for quite some time. Today, I came up with this design in EQ. It's nothing fancy, but it's the first thing I've done without following along in the instructions.
I had in mind to use the Oregon State fabric behind the footballs. I think there's a way to scan fabrics into the library, but I don't know how to do it. I looked on the internet and couldn't find a download of the Oregon State fabric. That's not surprising since it's a licensed product. If I could figure out how to scan it in, I could get a better idea how this would look if I made it up. Maybe I shouldn't put a football in every block.
I doubt I'll actually make this quilt, but it's a start on my EQ original design path. I have too many quilt irons in the fire right now to start anything new. He and Mae would be the talk of the stadium with an Oregon State quilt, wouldn't they? I'm still thinking about this one.
This morning I'm going to the grocery store. (Sigh.) I'll be much more excited about the day when that most hated task is behind me. It's going to be a nice day, and I've promised George a walk. George is not a morning cat. Right now he's curled up on the couch under a blanket. If I disturb him, he moans and glares at me. That will all change when I get home later. He'll be pawing at my leg urging me out the door.

Barb, Go to the "Help" on the EQ tool bar. Select "Search" then type in "scan fabrics" followed by a click on the list topics button. If you select the first title that comes up "4 Importing Scanned Fabrics". It will first show you how to import into EQ, but if you'll scroll down the window, it also gives instructions on how to scan your fabrics. At least it works that way in EQ7.

Great design. You did a great job. This would certainly make a beautiful quilt.
