I just read a post that touched me on Quilting in Oz. Gloria Park is a member of a quilting group called Town and Country Quilters of Joplin. They make charity quilts that are shipped to local charities, and they make other items that are donated to little girls in Africa. Several of their members lost their homes and their belongings in the tornado this month. One of the homes destroyed housed all of their quilting supplies--everything. They are seeking donations of supplies and cash so that they can continue their work. I'm going to send them some fabric from my stash.
