Foto Finish--Drama in the Sky

This week's Foto Finish theme is:  Drama in the Sky.

Here's my entry:

This was taken at sunset during one of our trips to Death Valley.  The sunsets in Death Valley are often striking--not just when there are clouds in the sky, as there were in this image.  Even without clouds, the landscape is so colorful that setting sun (and the rising sun) really brings out all the reds, browns, blues, and golds of the surrounding hillsides.  It's just one more reason to love Death Valley.

I'm getting into the mood for gardening as our weather improves.  So I think for next week's theme, I'll choose:

My Garden

I'm getting close to being ready to plant my vegetables.  What about you?  You can show us anything you like, whether it's your garden, someone else's garden, or a public garden.  As always, the interpretation of the week's theme is completely up to you.

And PS:  This is my 450th post!  Can 500 be far away?  It'll be time for a giveaway then.

Now I'm ready to see your Drama in the Sky.  Here's Mr. Linky:

Sky shots are some of my favorites - and yours is spectacular!

Mine is from my "The Girlfriend Tour" trip, when I was on the homestretch.

Now to go check out the others!
