Stash Report: Week Thirteen

Woo Hoo!  Now I'm starting to make at least a little progress.

Fabric used this week: 5 1/2 yards
Total fabric used to date: 13 yards

Fabric added this week: None
Fabric added year to date: 72 1/2 yards

Net added this year: 59 1/2 yards

I still have a long way to go, but I have several quilts in the pipeline that will use a lot of fabric.  I'm hoping to have a lot more busted before the end of spring.  Also, I sold four yards this week that I didn't think I would use.  That helped quite a bit.  It was nice fabric, but my tastes have changed since I bought it and I didn't think I was ever going to find a use for it.  The woman I sold it to was thrilled to get it.  And it was a bargain too.

that was a great way to get rid of some fabric that is not your taste anymore. I have been putting that kind of fabric in my backings as my tastes have changed from light florals to brights and batik over the years.

That’s the ticket--Little by Little and Bit by Bit. After a while the challenges of the task are overcome and eventually accomplished. Proud of you, Barbara peripatetic friend.
