I'm getting over my embarrassment at the sad state of my stash report. We are all grown-ups, aren't we? I've nearly filled my bag from Eleanor Burns' quilt shop with new fabric. I'll have to decide whether I'm going to continue on this fabric shopping spree or tone it down some. Tone it down some? Naaaaaaaaah! I'm having too much fun.
Fabric used this week: .75 yards
Total fabric used to date: 5.5 yards
Fabric purchased this week: 10.5 yards
Fabric purchased year to date: 50.5 yards
Net purchased this year: 45 yards
I'll just have to do a lot of sewing when I get home to catch up. I can think of worse things.

I was just reading that fabric prices are supposed to skyrocket.. which is really sad to me as I am just getting my new sewing machine tomorrow.. figures.. just when I finally find something I really love to do, then I won't be buying too much of it.. I say SHOP while you can!
It's hard to resist fabric when you are on the road. You can't run back if you decide you do like it. We'll be looking for great projects from you once you get home.
I typically buy more when I am on the road...who knows when I'll be back. I've been saving for a trip to my favorite shop, Country Threads in Garner, Iowa.
There is nothing wrong with having a wonderful stash. There are times when I can't get to a store or when there isn't any fabric calling my name. I can still create and be happy because of my stash. I love my stash. I think lately poor stash is getting a bad rap. ;)
