Sew Many Quilts

This is another quilt shop I visited on our trip to the Sister's Quilt show.  Sew Many Quilts is a large store with tons of merchandise.  They're also a Bernina authorized dealer.  This is relevant to me because I have a Bernina sewing machine (which I love).

They had tons of merchandise and they also had set up stations to demonstrate different machines and notions.  I appreciated that part.  Again, the store was absolutely mobbed because of the quilt show.  They too had provided free bottled water, which was very much appreciated.  I ended up picking up a few fat quarters because the cutting table lines were so long.  Also, the lines at the registers were disappointingly long.  I discovered that you can move to a shorter line by using cash or check.  Debit and credit cards require a telephone line, and so they are limited to certain parts of the store.

I would definitely like to visit this shop again when they aren't so busy.  I would give it four rotary cutters out of five, again for its location in a strip mall.  I really dislike strip malls for the way they cause a small town like Bend to be built long and thin to accommodate these "strips."  There are a lot of these in Bend, however, and so I can't blame the quilt shop for locating themselves in one.  Aside from that it seemed like a fun shop to visit on a quilt outing with lots of fabric, notions, patterns, and books, all laid out in a way that made browsing enjoyable.
