Yesterday my friend Sue and I walked at the Woodburn, Oregon, tulip festival. We were coming in at the tail end of the festival and many of the tulips had already been harvested. The ones that were left had seen better days. Also, it started raining on us while we were there. Sue and I don't let the rain interfere with our fun, however, and we seldom get rained on anyway. We were due for it, I guess.
Despite the rain, we saw plenty of color. Here's something to brighten your day if you're sitting in the clouds like we are this morning. They always remind me of crowds of people clamoring for their share of camera time, as if they are shouting, "Me, Me, Me! Take my picture!" Here you go. Enjoy!

Fields of tulips, how beautiful! You could make a nice quilt design in your garden, look how many colors.
Oh, how lovely! I had some of those deep purple and varigated purple/white parrot - the squirrels, chipmonks and moles, just loved them. Thank you for sharing.
