Pets on Quilts: A Compendium of Cats on Quilts

It's time for Smitty and Sadie to put their best paws forward for the greatest show on earth: Pets on Quilts! So let's party!

As you might guess, Smitty and Sadie were completely uncooperative having their images captured for the show, and so we're digging into the archives for some of our favorites.

Smitty was more than willing to help me write my blog post. But sitting on quilts was just a step too far for him. Nevertheless, he is a willing helper...most days.

His favorite quilts are the ones about traveling. And he's a taskmaster when it comes to measuring twice and cutting once.

When all else fails, the cutting mat makes an excellent napping spot.

Miss Sadie the snuggle bug, has the whole cats on quilts things figured out.

She likes to snuggle more than anything else in the whole wide world, and so she's always happy to gaze lovingly while she rubs her cheeks against the cushy fabric.

On a cold morning, there's no better place to be.

If you read this blog often, you know that kitties are the stars of the show here at the Three Cats Ranch. If you want to see some more pets on quilts, head on back to the Pets on Quilts show and prepare to be smitten.

Dear Smitty and Sadie, we are so glad to see you participating (we are too!) in Pets on Quilts. Our mom loves your mom’s blog, and we all enjoy your frequent appearances on it. Yours in furriendship, Alfalfa and Darla.

I can't imagine a cat not liking quilts. I can't keep mine off, even the patchwork units that are in progress.

Your kitties are so cute nestled in the quilts!!! Clearly they have great taste!

I LOVE Three Cats Ranch. That direct face shot of Smitty is amazing. I knew he was handsome, but wow did you capture his beautiful eyes (and intelligent look) in that photo. Beautiful quilts too!

I always (my huuby too) look forward to the Pets on Quilts parade. Love that close up face shot of Smitty. He looks like he is having a stare down with you.

When Max was with me, he was always on my ironing board, napping close to the iron (often singed his fur when I wasn't paying attention). I sure miss him, but I do enjoy seeing Smitty and Sadie. Give them each a cuddle and petting for me!

Lovely Kitties and at least they did sit on the quilts for that all important picture.

Nothing like a couple of sweet babies to help in the quilt room.
These two look like perfect company!

You've got such great helpers and quilt users in those two kitties. Smitty is so distinguished looking and Sadie is pretty cute. (I'd call Smitty cute too, but he probably wouldn't appreciate it considering how all grown up he is these days).

Smitty looks like my Winston! Is he super soft, like silk, too? Winston is so wonderful to pet.

I laughed out loud when I read your comment about having to dig into the archives for photos. My cats never cooperate for pictures either. But nonetheless, they are delightful creatures.
