Christmas Quilt Parade

Beth over at Love, Laugh Quilt, came up with a great idea for a Christmas quilt parade. It seems I have a few to show off myself. Without a lot of explanation, here we go.

A Well Dressed Man
a mini made for Project Quilting Season 8

Catty Canes
made for a monthly Doll Quilt Swap

Gingerbread Square
made because I'm a glutton for punishment

Icy Blues
made as a part of the Let's Book It Challenge (thanks, Sharon!)

Merry and Bright
another product of Let's Book It

Peppermint Star
made one Christmas in a festive moment.

Christmas Stars
a gift for a distant cousin

Whose Woods are These?
a table topper

Walking through a Winter Wonderland
the quilt that got me hooked on hand embroidery

Winter Wonderland
a gift for a former neighbor...my first use of Angelina fibers

Deck the Halls
made for a Christmas quilt swap

(If you see something here you like, I might be able to direct you to a free pattern.) Merry Christmas, everybody!

What great variety, They are all fabulous but my favourites are Well Dressed Man and Catty Canes. Any pattern for Catty Canes?

Are there any Christmas quilts in your current rolling home? It will be quite different spending Christmas on the road this year.

Petsies to both kitties.

Love looking at your projects but that peppermint twist is saying me me. Would you maybe recall where the pattern is?

Wow, lots of Christmas quilts! Could you direct me to the "Deck the halls" pattern? Love your travels. I have not been to east coast. Love learning about the places you visit.

Wow! Love all your quilts and projects, but must say, especially Love love the Winter Wonderland and the blue tree ones -- I am a sucker for blue trees, I guess. You have an amazing collection of work! You could have your own quilt show -- I'd buy a ticket! :)

So fun seeing all of these again. Sadly, I still don't have a Christmas quilt to add to my repertoire. Maybe in another year or two ...

Thanks for sharing the fun quilts. Catty Canes is a cute one, but I really can see why Winter Wonderland got you hooked on embroidery. What a lovely quilt! I have a few small Christmas quilts, but I really do need to make a large Christmas quilt to hang for the holidays. Maybe this year.

ah, yes, Crabapple Hill embroidery designs for quilts! we visited on a shop hop a few years ago they were open to be part of it. They are not usually open to the public. Very interesting studio!

Beautiful stitching, just had to take a peep at where you went today before I head in, so glad I did! Quite the variety of quilts you have, especially loved the Catty Canes.

We have several trails around here like the boardwalk. Though the closest one is probably not where you'd want to hang out for long. Lots of skeeters, and um...ummm...well, Mike might get a little uncomfortable. We can chat about that later. Suffice it to say, a walk around the block might be more suitable (our block is 1 mile around).

What fun all of those quilts are! I don't recall seeing the Catty Canes before. Is there a pattern for that one?

Continued Happy Trails to you & Mike & the kitties.
