Come down from there, Big Boy. Your days of lording it over the household have come to an end. There's a new Furiff in town.
No way, you little Lolita. I know what you've been up to. You've been on one of those dating websites purrowling around for mancats.
Oh Smitty. You bore me with your purrudish ways.
Well, you decide, my friends. I was shocked! Shocked, I tell you, when this little Jezebel started receiving gifts from Juno-rhymes-with-Uno. If you don't believe me, just check it out. And then yesterday, she received a Valentine from him! I know! I'm saying it's downright purrnographic!
Oh Smitty, get over your purritanical self. There's nothing purno here...it's Love, Sweet, Love.
Pure purretry. Sigh.
Oh, Juno. You make my paws go purrty pat. You make my ears wiggle and my tail twitch.
And you're such a handsome hunka cat manmeat. I love you more than catnip!
Oh, gack! It's enough to gag a maggot! Purrdon me while I cough up a hairball.
Oh, be quiet, Smitty. Your purreachy pontifurrcating bores me.
Yawn. You're making me want to take a nap.
Yeah, so pretty much status quo on the cat front. On the sewing front, I'm determined to get some machine sewing in today. First, I have to take Himself to the vet for his second worming treatment. What? You didn't think I was going to shove that pill down his throat did you? No...I'll leave that to the hands that are already bleeding.
This morning I got back to work on the latest Gingerbread Square block. I haven't worked on this one since before we left on our trip. It's around 2/3 finished now, but there's still lots to do.
I've moved the hoop as far to the right as I need to now, and so I'm coming down the home stretch.
And with that, I'll just get to it.

I'm afraid Smitty is too innocent to truly understand, but I get it, Maggie! Your work is always amazing -- and the quilt blocks you posted yesterday are fantastic! I love how truly you are able to render the designs. :)
Dearest Smitty, Please hold strong. My brother is back and he is taking over more and more. I bit him on the neck in your honor. Best wishes, Molly
Oh my that Juno sure knows the way to a girls heart with such a sweet card for Valentine's Day. Poor Smitty he needs to find a love too. I think he might be a bit jealous? Anyway glad ya'll made it home and all is getting back to normal. I sure enjoyed your trip!
Smitty needs to find a local hometown gal. I'd get Bella to send a note, but she is not into those distant relationships. Actually, I think she is just into herself. Glad you are all safely home and the routine is back in flow.
Poor Smitty, he just doesn't get girls does he? Sounds like you ares starting to get back into the groove again. Beautiful stitching as always.
Smitty's just jealous, he thought she was all his, but his way of courting her was a touch juvenile, tell him hitting the girl went out in kindergarten.
I think I detect a note of jealousy in Smitty's voice, poor little guy. What fun is a new playmate if all they do is pine over some guy a thousand miles away? So glad they traveled well together though.
Juno here. Yes the real me here in cold upstate New York. I was so sad on Valentine's Day, pining for my love Maggie but I know that her humans are loving her so that makes me happy. Smitty, hey I'm sorry dude, but I can't help it if you don't have a sweetie of your own. Maybe you should be nicer to the gals and one will take a liking to you. Love is sweet you know.
Juno, thank you for sending the card to Maggie. You must understand that Smitty knows nothing of love. I'm afraid he hasn't the balls for it.
Your Lolita looks just like our Gus-Gus. We also have an orange tabby, Ben, and a devilish black female cat, Tabitha.
Rosemary
Lucky Maggie to get such a beautiful Valentine from Juno! Smitty'll just have to get over it.
