A Quickie for a Good Cause

Hello there, my friends. We're still in the middle of unpacking and trying to get back to something that passes for normal around here. The trailer is unpacked, and most everything is put away. I've done five loads of laundry. The kitties have regressed a little, but not too much. They had their respective territories scoped out in the smaller confines of the trailer. Here at home there's more space to negotiate in terms of their agreement, and so it's taking a little more time. Not to get all political, but it's a little like the Republicans vs. the Democrats. I'll let you decide which cat belongs to which party.

Just now, I printed off some recipes for next week's menu, and I'm about to make a shopping list. Grocery shopping tomorrow. Oh yes, and we picked up Big Bertha from her spa treatment this morning, and let me just say that she is looking mah-velous.

So what's this quick post all about anyway? Well. I got an email just this afternoon, and it looked like a good opportunity for quilters to contribute to a good cause. I wanted to pass along the information because time is growing short. Just take a look at this here blog post from Pet Postcards 2016 for all the details and join in if you want to! I'm going to give it a try. There's still about a month left before the mailing deadline.

Okay...lots to do. I told you it would be a quickie, and I wasn't kidding around.

Glad to hear you are officially back home and re-settling, although I'm sure that is a big job. Thanks for sharing insights about the Pet Post Cards. Quilt Festival does such a great job raising funds, via such call for quilts, and hopefully the more people that hear about it the more funds will be raised. I'm not going to see if I can come up with some special pet theme design to submit.

I remember the pet postcards or something similar in Houston a few years ago, they raised a ton of money.
