Stitches in Bloom Quilt Show: Third Batch

Here's another round of quilts from the quilt show. I thought I could finish them up today, but I'll have enough for one more day tomorrow. Here's today's batch:

This next quilt was a bed-sized quilt. Very pretty. Love the embellishment.

I took this next one because it used the same black dotted fabric I used when I made my very first quilt. It's the black with the large dots between the rows of pennants.

Cute quilting too.

I love what she did with the sun's rays. I'd like to learn to do more with beads.

There are some wonderful three dimensional elements to this next quilt.

Have you ever noticed how effective the simplest quilting can be? Sometimes I do simple quilting, and I think I've ruined the quilt. Then I see simple quilting at quilt shows, and I think it's beautiful. Food for thought.

I really love the "Alice" one and those sun rays are gorgeous. Simple quilting is so perfect on quilts that can speak for themselves.
