If you missed yesterday's post, then you're missing out on the celebration giveaway. Be sure to leave a comment on that post to be entered into the giveaway. When this binding is finished, I'll be drawing the winner.
With so much binding to stitch, I haven't done much other sewing, although I did bake the bread I was planning for yesterday. It's so nice with the cranberries to balance the sweetness of the bread. You can find the recipe for that in yesterday's post too.
We're working on eating one of the loaves. Mike took the other one to work with him this morning.
Sue and I opted to walk out here by my house this morning since our usual Fanno Creek trail is bound to be flooded by the downpour of yesterday's rain and wind storm. We got a good break in the rain for our walk with just a few sprinkles toward the end. The light was so beautiful and created a nice contrast for the contours of the field.
We always take our shadow selves when we walk, and the two of them posed for a selfie.
My shadow self was wearing her rainpants, which accounts for her elephantine legs.
We walked into an icy breeze on the way back, and although I've been home for over an hour, I'm still feeling chilled to the bone. Spending 20 minutes icing my knee didn't help. I might take a dip in the hot tub before my shower. It's sounding pretty nice right now.
As for the rest of the day, I'll probably get a start on Block #37 for the Live, Love, Teach quilt. I've been planning for this one:
So there's lots to do today and this weekend. We're expecting plenty of rain, but I won't be bored. It's good sewing weather.

Those loaves look very yummy. Enjoy your day of stitching.
Hot tub and hot chocolate should do you right. The latest block looks like fun to play with, I think it's the camper that appeals to me I've seen so many cute ones lately.
