Northwest Quilting Expo: Day 3

Today's group of quilts is mainly from the book themed group, as I recall. Some of my favorites are in this group, and so I've taken lots of pictures of details. Here we go:

"Prayers for Sale" is a book I've read. It was a good story, and I like the quilts made from it.

The quilting is beautiful in this next quilt. It gave me some ideas for the Doors of Ireland quilt.

Interesting quilting in the background.

There are probably two more days of pictures left. I hope you're enjoying them. More to come.

No wonder this grouping has some of your favourite quilts. If History and Tradition hadn't won there would be something wrong with the judging. That quilt is amazing, especially the water. Wow! And Guernsey County Fair is so much fun.

Thank you for sharing.

I love the one with pens. I am a fountain pen user and would gladly hang something like that! You are just as creative and just as skilled. It's just a matter of a little confidence and time . . .

The Cover-to-Cover retrospective was my favorite part too. I don't do representational, but I sure love to look at it.

Wow, the details in these are amazing. I love the whimsy of the last one, but all of them are so fun.
