Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show (Fourth Batch)

Today's quilts are more my style of quilting, where there are lots of things to look at, every block different, row-by-row and round robin quilts, and lots of fun designs.

This first one put me in mind of my own Two Grandmothers quilt. Be sure to read the accompanying label.

Pretty quilting on this next one, in the "zentangle" style. I want to look into that more since it's the kind of quilting I like to do.

There were quite a few of these quilts made using each block from Tula Pink's City Sampler: 100 Modern Quilt Blocks. They used varying colors and widths of sashing and, of course, different scraps to create a lot of different looks for the same quilt. I think I have this book on my bookshelf. What a great scrapbuster!

This next quilt wasn't technically a part of the show, but was hanging at a vendor's booth.

I have that same cat fabric! One of you told me about it, and I fell in love with it. It's a large scale print, and I haven't known what to do with it.

I love how it's done with this pattern. As is my usual style, I took a picture of the object of my desire, figuring I'd buy it later online. Only now, I can't find it. I did find the designer who doesn't have a website, except to say "contact me". I did. I'll let you know what she says about the availability of the pattern. This would work with any large scale print.

Okay, now back to the show.

I'll admit that I'm a sucker for barn quilt blocks.

Cute details in these next quilts.

This one's for you, Padsworth.

And, Dragondrop...not technically a dragon.

And what child of the sixties won't appreciate this last one for today.

Tie-Dye!

So, I think I have about two more days of these...possibly three. If your eyes are getting full, then congratulations! You're getting the full Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show experience!

What a fun grouping of quilts today. Just love the group row quilts - so different, yet all just show the talent of this group.

Hi Barbara! This is Padsworth....this has been a ribbeting display...so much quilty goodness to see! DragonDrop has been mesmerized, too. Unfortunately, we lost Snoodles on the last post....she's drooling over your lemon pie.
Thanks for the virtual show!
