The bottom two borders will go at the top and bottom of the quilt. Here it is all laid out, sans sashings.
The sashing fabric is supposed to come today, and I've been checking the door every five minutes. C'mon UPS Man! If I could call him on the phone, I'd tell him there are cookies in the deal for him.
That's probably all the sewing I'll do today. I'll need to wash, dry, and iron the fabric before I can cut the sashings. As you might guess, I've been putting off housework all week while I've been working on the quilt. Lastly, I want to get a start on dinner for tonight.
Also, I'm packing things up for the class I'm attending tomorrow from Lisa Crnich. Lisa spoke at our guild a few months ago. You can read my blog post about her right here. Lisa was a fun speaker, and I loved her work. She's going to teach us to do her "Four Fabric Forest" quilts. You can see examples of her own forest quilts on her website right here. I fussed and stewed over choosing the right fabrics, and I've probably taken about half of my stash. More is better, right?
That's probably enough to keep me busy for the rest of the day. You can bet that if it doesn't, I'll be madly sewing that quilt together with any extra time. What's on your agenda for today?

That quilt is going to be really pretty. I am looking forward to seeing it all together. I hope the UPS man has come by now.
The quilt is looking awesome even without the sashing. Destined to be a beautiful keepsake. Hope you have a fun class.
Hope the stashing fabric showed up this afternoon. Enjoy your class tomorrow.

Enjoy your class! Thanks for posting the link to her site...if I lived closer, I'd be there, too! I'd love to learn to make one of those.
Ohh, the Wells Fargo wagon is a-coming, ....... so glad to know that someone else remembers that movie. LOL Love how that is looking. It's going to be a show winner, I just know it.
