Relaxing Day

Tom and Deb played golf today. Mike and I relaxed. It was a great day...a little cooler, and so it was enjoyable just to hang out napping through the afternoon.

There's not much to say about what we did today, but I figured I'd use the opportunity to say this. Canada: You rock!

We've visited Canada many times. There's plenty of spectacular scenery and interesting and entertaining activities. But the thing I love most about Canada is the people. You are the friendliest, most polite, most charming people on the planet. I've met lovely people in other parts of the world too. Possibly it's because we're such close neighbors that I always feel so much at home and welcome in Canada. Between each visit, I forget. Each time I return, it is refreshingly as pleasant as the last time we visited.

So keep up the good work, Canada! You guys are great!

Why thank you. We try. :) When you live here, you see some pretty big bozos but, overall, we still have manners.

I'm glad you are enjoying your visit. Tourism is a big part of BC's economy and we like and appreciate visitors.

Drama Teen always asks for one day where we don't go anywhere when we are on vacation. It's so easy to get caught up in the doing that you forget the relaxing.
