Sponsored Giveaway from Canvaspop

Sorry. This giveaway is now closed.

While we were on our way to Bend a few weekends ago, I received a nice email from Liam at Canvaspop offering me an opportunity to receive a free 16 x 20 canvas print of one of my photographs just for reviewing their product. Well, how could I turn down a great offer like that? So, I sent Liam one of my favorite images from our hike on the Skyline Trail on Mt. Rainier. In addition to being one of my favorite images, it had a good range of colors, and it seemed like a good test.
Here's the image I sent:

Once Liam had received my image, he suggested which edges I might like for it. You can see the various options on their website right here. He suggested either the black edge, or I could have the photo wrap done in a special way. He explained that the image I submitted had important elements along the outside and that they would essentially duplicate those for my edge so that I could still have the look of the photo wrap without losing any important elements. Then he sent me a proof so I could see what they had done.

Yesterday, I was delighted to receive my print in the mail, so beautifully done on canvas. Wow! Look at those colors!

My original image was taken with one of my first Canon Powershot cameras, and even with relatively low resolution, the enlargement is of good quality. I'm very happy with it. Here's how it looks from the back. They've wired it for hanging, and even supplied the necessary hardware.

They even put a little rubber bumper in the corner to protect my wall.

I'm very happy with the results of this, and it's thrilling to see one of my images blown up so large. The customer service has been excellent as well.

Full disclosure, I've receive my print free of charge, but my opinion of the product is my own. I can highly recommend Canvaspop if you're considering doing something like this with your own photography. In fact, Liam is offering you, my readers, a special deal through April 30th. Go to their website and submit one or more of your own favorite images. Between now and April 30th, you can receive a 35% discount off your entire order using this code:

CATPATCHES35

But wait! That's not all. Liam has also offered one of you a chance to win a free 16 x 20 print of your own. All you have to do is leave me a comment. Any comment will do, but you could tell me what image you'd like to see reproduced as a canvas print. Is it a family photo? Something from a hike? Just give me a little description in a few words. The offer will be good all the way through March of 2016, and so maybe you have a vacation coming up this summer that you might like to remember in this special way.

I'll choose a winner on Monday, April 6th, so don't delay. And thanks, Liam! I'm very happy with my print.

I would choose a photo of one of the views from my house ... as a memory to keep after I move on.

I'd love a print of my daughter, 3 grandsons and my husband and myself. That would make them feel like they are here in Florida instead of Calif.

Great result. Funny, I have been thinking of doing this for 'artwork' in our new snowbird condo. Probably one of my many pics of a desert sunset.

I have a great picture of my daughter and my two grandchildren. That would be totally fun in a 16x20 canvas.

That is very cool, I've always wondered about those canvas prints, and yours is beautiful. I am not sure what I'd choose . . . I have some beautiful beach photos, but those are part of a whole different part of my life. Family photos all over my house, so probably not. Maybe I would go out and take something in the woods, something new to express the life I am living now. I know for sure that it all slips away so quickly, so it is wonderful to freeze happy memories. It would be a lot of fun, both the choosing and the hanging. :)

Definitely a picture of my grandchildren! Can't get enough of those faces!

Your print looks terrific! Great choice.
I think maybe I would pick one I took when I was visiting my sister in NoCal - it has an big old wooden spool with blue paint on it, a dirt road, trees, falling down fence. It's one of my faves.

I'd like to scan a photo of my dad listening to a ballgame with me when I was a baby, along with our sweet old dachshund, Duchess. It's such a retro photo, and my dad looks so happy with his two little girls.

Thanks for the review of Canvaspop. I often see ads for similar sites but it's so hard to know about the quality of the products until someone you trust tries them out.

They did a super job with your photo! Hard to think what we would choose but it would most likely be a photo of some of the grandkids, though there are those kitty and dog photos too.

I think I would choose a photo from an upcoming trip to the Northwest US and Canada. Hopefully we'll get some good shots of animals. If not, a scenery picture would be great to have enlarged. ~Jeanne

what fun, part of me wants a good pic of the kiddos, but then I also have a beautiful tree down the road from us that I took a b/w pic of one foggy morning, it was gorgeous!

I would choose a photo I took while on vacation at Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island in general in Maine. It's a lovely little hike called Ship Harbor Nature Trail and it is my favorite little walk when we go there. Gorgeous views of the ocean and the harbor with just amazing trees and flowers and boulders and rocks worn smooth by the waves.

Oh, that turned out beautifully! And what a fun give away! I have a portrait of my husband and I on our 30 th anniversary that I would love tohave done on canvas.

Gorgeous! I love the look of canvas-wrapped photos, but haven't splurged yet. I would probably have one of my photos from my trip to Italy done. Thank you for the opportunity!

I took a great picture of Kona cottons ages ago and wanted it done up in canvas but couldn't afford it so this would be perfect if I won :)

The canvas print is very good. I'd love to win the drawing, but if not, I think I'll still do some business with this company.

What a wonderful giveaway! If I were the lucky winner, it would be a photo of either grandkids or cats. Thank you for the opportunity to enter the giveaway. (shirparks@gmail.com)

You chose a great photo for your canvas. If I were to win this, I'd hope that I could capture a great photo--either scenery or animals during our trip this year. Glacier National Park is on the list of places to visit, and there should be something there worthy of a photo or ten thousand! But first, I'm in the market for another new camera, in hopes of being able to take photos as lovely as those that you show on your blog.

Your photo and print are absolutely gorgeous! I think if I were to win I would want to use one of my brother's nature photo's, he has a very nice Nikon camera and loves photography, so he has some beautiful images, I would love to get one of his photos turned into a canvas print for his birthday. Thank you!

Your canvas turned out beautiful!! If I was lucky enough to win the giveaway, I would either have a picture of my family's Michigan house or a picture of our beloved beagle who we lost last fall at the age of 15. Thanks for a chance at a canvas.

I'd like to see my 2 male cats on a canvas. They are brothers we rescued.

Oh wow! How awesome is that?! I love it! I would have a hard time choosing one photo, but we are taking a big bucket list trip this summer so I might chose one of those. If I had to chose one I've already taken, it would probably be one of my ranch photos.

I surprised a pretty bluebird sitting in the nest when I stuck my camera in the entrance to our newspaper box to check on the eggs. Don't know who was more surprised when he flew out as I was checking the camera to see the picture. I would love to have a canvas of that memory to hang. Cindy/ bluemoonstencils@yahoo.com
