Cat on Cats

Good morning. Smitty here. The weather has been so nice here in Purregon that I haven't been blogging much. However, when I saw my mom quilting my favorite quilt today, I needed to give you my two cents purrth.

My mom has been grinding her teeth over this quilt. I've been napping on it every day, purring in my most reassuring way (or "reapurring" for those of you who speak Cat). Finally, yesterday, she started sewing.

I helped her out by rubbing on her sewing machine. Her sewing machine is sometimes very uncoopurrative, and so I'm just greasing the gears with my chin whiskers.

She said that I was making it more difficult for her to sew, and asked me if I wanted to move along somewhere else.

I shook my head "no" most vigorously.

Sheesh. Whose quilt does she think this is anyway? Humans. Can't live with 'em, and the cat food bowl goes empty without 'em. It's the ultimate cat's dilemma.

Smitty you are such a good helper. I'm sure your Mom really appreciates all you do, most days any way.

Cats do seem to gravitate towards the quilts, even if they are still on the machine, lol.
Love the laurel burch fabrics. I have a few I still need to make into pillows and a panel I bought years ago. I got the bright idea of hand quilting all of the design, not a smart decision, lol.

Smitty, it's a good thing you are there to remind your mom about getting busy quilting your quilt. It is going to be too warm to use it soon. Nice work.
