Winter Woes and Cabin Fever

Are you ready to party? Padsworth and Dragon Drop are throwing a Cabin Fever Party. They want to know what you've done to while away the hours during the long cold and wet winter. Here at the Three Cats Ranch, we have lots of things to do inside.

We like to play,

and to nap.

Sometimes we work on school projects.

There's always lots of laundry to do,

and we do a lot of housework too.

Smitty likes to help with the grocery shopping. He keeps the shopping bags under control.

We look out the window longing for warmer weather,

but we get outside whenever we have the chance.

When we go back inside, we do some yoga,

And then take care of our personal hygiene. Winter air dries out our skin.

We sew, and sew, and sew...

And we watch TV.

Sometimes we enjoy the company of friendly visitors,

and we always remember to smell the flowers whenever possible.

We snuggle enthusiastically,

and we've been known to steal a kiss from time to time.

An occasional nip warms our innards and improves our mood.

For a touch of green, we like to do indoor gardening.

An occasional gift from the oven soothes our souls.

We often keep the lights on to brighten a dark day,

and we like to do our step aerobics.

Sometimes we take pictures, but they are usually through the living room window.

There's always more sewing to do. Snoopervision is an important part of Smitty's responsibilities.

And mostly, we stay pretty busy.

So what about you? How do you beat cabin fever? Come on over to the party and share your winter ways.

Kitties always find something fun to do;)
We are getting some sun, that is a treat considering, but more snow coming in.

I love the cat pictures. We are a cat family with 5 of them running around the house. They are fun. I am jealous that you have deer visiting. I live close to a freeway and no way can deer get across and visit me.

What a wonderful post! Love it. :) Moses likes to watch our deer, too, and the flocks of turkeys. Apparently they like to move around in the same pastures!
I'm so glad you joined the party!
