Today it's time to pick the winner of the lapel pin for the January NewFO Challenge. And I must say I'm thrilled at the number of participants for this first challenge of 2014. Sixty-nine of you linked up with your newborn quilts! That's the most participation ever in this challenge. I'm so glad you're overcoming your fear of unfinished projects. As my friend Kate has observed, the more projects you start, the more you finish...eventually!
So enough gabbing. Who's the lucky winner? I generated a number at random and came up with...
#35--Ruth at Country Log Cabin
Congratulations, Ruth! I've sent you an email, so check your inbox.
Now, you know what I'm going to say next. Don't despair if you didn't win. Just come right back here on February 28th for the February NewFO Challenge and giveaway. Next month, we'll be playing for the Flower Garden lapel pin.
And all you have to do is start something new and be here to link up. No finishes required!

Congrats Ruth! Barb you are the best hostess!
YEA for Ruth! I've won twice and Have two needle nannies. I wouldn't mind adding this one to my collection. They go nicely with my Pin collection on my Guild nametag collar. Thanks Barbara for the NewFO challenge.
I appreciate Kate's perspective -- not that I need any more "good" reasons to start a new project . . . .
Congrats to Ruth!
