Home Again

Home again, and tired. I think this is my fourth year attending the Stitches in Bloom quilt show. It's always terribly crowded, making it nearly impossible to photograph the quilts. And it absolutely IS impossible not to continually bump into and step on other folks. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable as always. I'll have some more pictures for you tomorrow. For today, I wanted to show you this woman with the cheesy grin standing next to her quilt. It was one of the larger quilts, and so it was displayed on the end of a row. A good spot with more room for viewing.

It is so much fun seeing your own quilt on display at a show! Don't know why I didn't do it sooner...well yes, I do. I was chicken. Those chicken quilts are pretty cute though!

The second picture is pretty terrible, but the quilt was wonderful. The sun was shining on several of them, and the pictures didn't turn out well at all.

Anyway...more tomorrow. Lots to see.

Welcome home! And it is pretty cool to see your own quilt hanging, isn't it? I like to lurk and listen to comments. LOL! :)

You do look pretty pleased and happy. Your quilt is bigger than I'd realised.
That final quilt really got my attention -- amazing!

I am chicken, too. I have never entered a quilt, but my granddaughter did. She entered two or three years in the under 18 group. She wants to this year, but being an adult, is a little timid.

How fun to see your own quilt hanging in a show. I can imagine how hard that must be to get up the courage to enter a quilt.

Love your happy smiling photo by your quilt. How could anyone not smile when standing next to their own beautiful quilt at a quilt show. Glad you had fun on your 'expedition'.
