Let's Party!

Blog Hop Party with Give-Aways

Sorry this giveaway is now closed.

Well, I don't know about you, but I'm pleased as punch to be participating in the latest Blog Hop Party with Giveaways today. Of course, nobody needs a reason to party, but I'm here to celebrate passing my 2000th post a few weeks ago.

Yahoo! It was so easy with such great bloggy friends to keep me talking. Thank you all for your many kind comments, your encouragement, and your support over the past  3 1/2 years.

And I am so lucky to have Mark from Classic Metal Company here to help me celebrate! I discovered Mark's wonderful metal barn quilt blocks while perusing a quilt magazine a while back, and I simply had to have one of my very own. You can read about my quilt block right here, but if you just want to see a picture of it, then feast your eyes!

Well, all of that to say that Mark has generously agreed to giveaway 12(!) of his new barn quilt mini blocks for this celebration, and so I'm offering four of you the opportunity to win three mini-quilt blocks of your choice.

These would look great as Christmas ornaments for your tree or they would make wonderful Christmas gifts for your favorite quilty friends! You can choose from brass or copper.

So, I suppose you'd like to know how to win, wouldn't you? Here's the scoop:

Required:

1. Head on over to the Classic Metal Company website and take a look at the barn quilt mini blocks that are available. Now leave a comment with your suggestion about other quilt blocks you'd like to see, or alternatively, which blocks you'd choose if you win.

Additional chances to win (optional):

2. Head over to Classic Metal Company's Facebook page and like them there, then leave a comment saying you did that.

3. Head over to Cat Patches Facebook page and like us there, then leave a comment saying you did that.

4. Not into Facebook? Be a follower in whatever way you like. Just leave a comment saying how you follow.

And that is it. Because of shipping charges, I'm afraid this giveaway will need to be limited to readers from the United States and Canada only.  Sorry all you other international folks.  I'll get you next time around. This giveaway will remain open until November 26th when I'll generate four numbers at random and announce the winners. Good luck and party on!

And when you're finished here, head on back to the party page for more great giveaways!

The mini quilts are stunning. And I agree these would make outstanding Christmas tree decorations. I think a Jacob's Ladder would fit into the mix perfectly.

I love the feathered star quilt block ornament. My suggestion would be to look at some of the blocks modern quilters are making (swoon and plus + x blocks were the first to come to mind)–he might find a whole new audience among the modern quilters.
