Well, we couldn't be more excited about this because our mom has more cat quilts than you can shake a stick of catnip at! She is papering the walls with them! Just take a look at our wall of cats!
We could show off any one of these, Gracie. What do you think? I'm kind of purrtial to this one.
Nah, Smitty. This one is my favorite. I take my morning catnaps on this one every day.
But, Smitty, I think we should show off Mom's newest creation. It is the last quilt to go up on the wall of cats, and besides, I think the title is purrfect for our purrposes. Let's show off the quilt called Love Me, Love My Cat. Because, honestly, who doesn't love cats? Besides, I think this entry will fit the Cats on Quilts category purrfectly.
Oh, Gracie. See? That's why I love you. You are so purrty and smart. Yes, this one is my favorite. What does it say?
And look at this next block, Smitty. It looks just like us in that picture at the top!
There is a lot of wisdom stitched into this quilt, Smitty. That's why I like it.
I think this is the block Mom made just for you, Smitty. You know how you like to play with the birds. Mom says she's going to bell you if you don't watch out. That would be so empurrassing! What if Uno saw you with a stupid bell?
And since we are both party animals, this one just has to be about us!
Remember when you were just a little kitten, Smitty?
I think this next block is about you, because look at how big you are now
You're even bigger than I am now, but that's okay because a purrson's a purrson no matter how small. (We like to read that Dr. Seuss book about Horton the Elephant. Horton is one of our purrsonal heroes.) Besides, what I lack in size, I make up for in greatness.
You're right, Gracie. I think this quilt is the best repurresentation we have of life here at the Three Cat's Ranch.
