Macro Monday

It's been a while since I posted anything to Macro Monday.  The weather hasn't exactly been conducive to getting out on my belly to shoot those tiny little things.  Today, however, the iris are particularly beautiful.  There are still more colors coming, but I really love this apricot colored one.

I love the colour of this iris - never seen anything like it where I live. I'm glad you decided to post and share this flower for MM.
Your comment above the box is something I'd like to add to mine. Sometimes a comment merits a reply to keep the conversation going.

That apricot is a gorgeous color. This year the lady across the yard has yellow and purple ones like you put a pic in your post. Stunning varieties of color are in the Iris family.

Your irises are just beautiful. I have never seen such a large variety of colors. I don't have any yet, but plan to steal some from my mother's yard - she has violet and white.
Also, I made up some chive vinegar from your tutorial and it's only been 2 daya. It is so pretty in the bottle, but I need a bigger stand of chives to fill such a large container as yours. Thanks for the info.
