52 Photos Project: Vintage

This week's prompt is "Vintage".  We are asked to "capture the feeling of dated, old, or classic".  This one was easy for me.

When our friends Greg and Jan cleared their ten acres of property of Oregon blackberry vines and Scotch Broom, they uncovered this long-ago abandoned truck.  It had been there so long that an alder tree was growing from its bed.  I always loved the old truck.  Eventually, they hauled it off.  I was sorry to see it go.

Great shot. The soft focus on the truck really gives it a vintage feel.

I think I would have hated to see it go, too. What a great shot that is!

It is amazing what you can find on abandoned land!

Very vintage indeed! I don't think, if that was on my land, that I could have hauled it away.
