Foto Finish: Orange

The theme for this week's Foto Finish is "Orange".  Here's my entry:

While it was tempting to go with something leafy, I couldn't resist these orange marigolds.  It's my final farewell to summer, which seems definitely to have left us here in Oregon.  Of course, it's been Fall for nearly a month, but we were enjoying some nice summer weather for a while.

With next week being the last Saturday before Halloween, I definitely needed to do something Halloweenie. I'm going with "Creepy or Spooky".

Now I'm ready to see your orange images.  If you don't have a blog, feel free to post your image to my FlickR group.  When you've uploaded your image, click on the image to get the URL and use that to link up.  Or...if you're having trouble, just send your image to me as an attachment, and I'll be happy to do it for you.  Here's Mr. Linky:

There's a bit of my Orange from last Halloween for your weekend pleasure. I love your marigolds; their color has a distinct place in the nature of oranges, doesn't it?

Beautiful, I love marigolds they're so simple but so beautiful, especially as a close-up. Orange you glad I came by. You bring this out in me.

Wonderfully orange!! Something entirely different, but not unexpected (for me) came to mind, as you'll see in my picture. :)

I love the way the dark green foliage in the background really sets the orange in the marigolds in the spotlight!
