52 Photos Project: Orange

I missed posting to the 52 Photos Projects Galleries while we were traveling.  I'm glad to be back for this week's theme:  Orange.  Here's my entry:

As I mentioned in a post last week some time, I like to take a picture of our shadow selves every once in a while.  In this image our shadow selves were strolling along a beach in Monterey.  The setting sun cast a bright orange glow on the sand.

Barbara, you make my day.... well evening here in Australia. Hope this run of bad luck is coming to an end, but I really can't wait for the next instalment of "Chez Cat and the magic sewing portal". We laugh with you, feel your misfortune and enjoy every word and beautiful picture. Thanks Barbara and Barbara's Family!

First off, you know I love the shadow pictures. But this one, wow, don't know if it was planned or not but I love how the seaweed looks like it could be a skirt on the shadow. Very cool.

Amazing orange...love your shadow pix. The pictures of Smitty being so stressed just break my heart; glad that he has gained, and took the visit pretty well.
Hope your new neighbors are not grumpy, and your repairs go smoothly. I agree - great do and great smile - what a handsome young man! You done good, mom!

Wonderful shot. Before I read your post, I was trying to figure out where you were. That orange looks like something you'd see from the Mars Rover.

I love shadow pictures! Those "angel wings" would've been perfect, just a bit higher up!
