Pets on Quilts

Hooray!  It's here!  The Pets on Quilts show.  Thanks for stopping by.  Here's our entry.

I couldn't resist this one last image of George.

This is one of the last photographs I took of George as he slept between my legs during one of our morning snuggle sessions.  Sadly, George disappeared a few weeks after this picture was taken.  I sure do miss my morning lap of cat. By the way, I didn't make this quilt.  I received it in a Quilts for Quilters Swap.  It was created by my talented swap partner Kelly from Lebanon, Oregon.

Fortunately, I still have Miss Fancy Pants, Gracie, to help me with all things quilty.  Here, she's helping me bind the Sunshine on My Shoulders quilt.  You simply couldn't ask for a better helper.  Well . . . I suppose you could ask.

And I had to edit this post after writing it to show you the newest addition to the Three Cats Ranch herd of cats.  This is Smitty.  He's a 14-week-old kitten who came home with me last week.  He likes Kelly's quilt too.

Don't let that sweet face fool you.  This little guy is a bundle of energy.  Gracie is pretty put out about having to breathe the same air that he does.  We're giving her plenty of snuggles and making Smitty give her some space.  She'll adjust, but not happily . . . at least not for a while.

To get a giant dose of cute and to see more Pets on Quilts, head back to the party.

Thanks for the picture of George, I'm so glad he's here for the show. Gracie looks like she wants to have a talk with you, maybe about that interloper you brought home and Smitty is still looking all innocent and snuggly, great pictures.

What a nice last picture of George.

That little one must be in the middle of her "Cat Nap" when this picture was taken.

Maybe it's hormones this morning but I'm crying about George. That pic just got me. The supreme trust, sleeping like that, totally 'out'. Ridiculous really that I should be crying about your cat. I'm such a sap...
