This week's prompt opens with this quotation:
"The first of all single colors is white ...
We shall set down white for the representative of light,
without which no color can be seen; yellow for the earth;
green for water; blue for air; red for fire; and black for total darkness."
-- Leonardo Da VinciHere's my entry for Week 14:
This is the flower of a shrub that blooms in spring in our garden. I don't know the name of it, but I'm told it is a member of the magnolia family. It is so delicate and pretty. Often the rain bruises the blossoms and ruins them for photography, but this one was near perfect. They do not have a fragrance that I can detect. They are one of my favorite blossoms in spring.

That is so delicate, it looks like it would crumble if one touched it. So soft!
I like the new blog design by the way! I noticed it the other day, but I was using my iPhone because I was traveling the past few days and couldn't be sure if it was a total redesign or just what was showing on the mobile view. Those little kitties in the tree branch are too cute! Great look =^..^=
This is so lovely!
That is beautiful.
That is just beautiful...I wonder if it would survive down here in the south? I think I'll try to get my extension agent to id it for me.... :)
