Some more of the iris have opened this morning. I'm so glad to be getting a chance to see them before I leave on my trip. I think there is still one sort of peachy-colored one that has not opened yet. Maybe by tomorrow since that will be my last chance.
These are breath-takingly gorgeous and amazing flowers to my eye. I hope you enjoy them too.
If I were tied down and forced to choose, I think the last one would be my favorite. Still, the apricot one is a very close contender.
This will most likely be my last post before leaving on my trip. Please check back because I'm hoping to blog along the way and post pictures. I had a brief correspondence with my Ireland roommate last night. She is flying down from Alaska on Saturday night, staying at a motel over night, and then waiting for our noon flight out of Seattle on Sunday. I'm leaving out of Portland quite early as well on Sunday morning, and so I'm hoping the two of us can meet up to get acquainted on Sunday while we wait for the rest of our group to arrive.
And now, I really cannot put off packing any longer. See you on the other side.

Looking forward to seeing the posts from your travels...praying you stay safe. I am amazed at the colors in your irises....I only have solid "blue" and yellow! Thanks for the lovely pictures. :)
Should Moses skype with George and Gracie while you are away? We probably need to do something to cheer them up whilst you are gone! LOL
