Final Day in Galway

This morning I was up bright and early to catch the bus for the scenic hill hike. After waiting at the pick-up point for two hours along with four other people, we were informed that the hike had been cancelled yesterday. It's too bad because the weather today was perfect for it. Oh well. Life is too short to get all riled up about things you can't change. Knowing this is one of the benefits of growing older, I've decided.

Tomorrow we head back to Dublin. We have two more days before we head home. In addition to taking a panoramic tour of Dublin (not sure what that means). We will be visiting. a monastic settlement and seeing a weaving demonstration. I'm thinking I should refrain from taking pictures if hunky monks. What do you think? It does make a good title for a porn flick though, doesn't it? "Hunky Monks". (considering how to market this idea)

No pictures if my nonexistent hike to show you today, but I'll choose a random wildflower image. Enjoy.

Well, you know, if the quilting thing doesn't work out for you, you could always get rich in your old age making porn flicks... especially if you combine quilting and porn...HAhahahahaah

So sorry your hike was cancelled. I know that would have been a highlight of the trip for you as much as you love the outdoors and nature :( But try to imagine that perhaps you were saved from a broken leg, or snakebite, or something equally scary, like a hunky monk... gotta get that visual out of my mind :*D

Now, WHY would you want to resist taking a picture of a hunky monk??!? We, your viewing public, have a RIGHT to see the hunky monks too!!!

Sorry the hike was cancelled, but I'll bet you'll have something else fun to tell us about later. :D

It's a real shame the hike was cancelled. I was really looking forward to seeing all the photos and I know you were really looking forward to the hike. Have a great time in Dublin.

Well, knowing you as I do (haha), you'll find something equally entertaining as that hike! Glad you kept your good humor about that, but crap - 2 hours wait...you'd think someone would have been able to tell you at the time of cancellation, eh?

Oh well, bring on the hunkymonkeys, I mean monks. Oh, that sounds sooo wrong! Let's just go fabric shopping!
